Tasmanian Blackwood Flooring

Acacia Melanoxylon

Blackwood flooring is setting the mark for designer interiors. The rich texture and tones of the timber grown in north-west Tasmania’s temperate rainforests is attracting interest from architects and designers nationally and internationally.

Traditionally a favourite for fine furniture makers, Blackwood flooring is now appearing in homes and commercial installations where warmth and a welcoming feel are paramount.

Blackwood flooring is a high-end product that brings a unique richness and depth to domestic and commercial projects. Renowned for its stability, and machined and dried to the highest standards, Blackwood stands the test of time.
